木版画でにじいろ近江八景

〈版画の愉悦〉展関連企画ワークショップ。日本の伝統木版画特有のグラデーション技法で、「近江八景」をテーマにこどもたちと木版画を作りました。はじめに展覧会で滋賀（近江）の８つの名所が描かれた版画作品を鑑賞し、そこから着想を得てそれぞれの名所を描きました。最後に大きな紙にみんなの作品を摺って八景を完成させました。

Rainbow Eight Sights of Omi with Woodblock Print

This was a workshop related to the Joy of Print Exhibition. With the “eight sights of Omi” as a theme, I created woodblock prints. With the “eight sights of Omi” as a theme, children created woodblock prints using a gradation technique specific to Japanese traditional woodblock print. First, they viewed prints of the eight sights of Omi, Shiga at the exhibition, and they draw designs for each sight, inspired by the prints. In the end, the eight sights were put together on a large piece of paper after printing everyone’s artwork.
